What we collect

The inquiry form asks for your name, email address, the session or visit you want, an optional preferred date, an optional group size, and a message. If you email or telephone instead, we keep the details you choose to give. Booking records may also include the proposal title, payment references for bank transfers, and attendance in the visit book (name and date only).

We do not ask for resident registration numbers, wallet keys, seed phrases, or payment card numbers through this website.

Why we use it

We use inquiry details to answer you, to schedule a session, circle, membership, or briefing, and to keep a record of what was agreed. The visit book is used to know who was in the room. We do not sell personal information and we do not use it for unrelated advertising.

Legal basis

Under the Personal Information Protection Act of Korea, we process this information because it is needed to take steps you asked for before a booking, to perform the booking, and to meet record duties that apply to a small business. Where a consent record for the cookie notice is stored, that record is kept so we can honour the choice you made.

Retention

Inquiry messages that do not become a booking are deleted within 24 months. Booking correspondence, payment references, and visit-book lines are kept for five years after the session or season ends, then deleted, unless a longer period is required for tax or dispute records. You may ask for earlier deletion when keeping the record is no longer required.

Sharing

The desk staff read inquiries. A bank sees transfer information you send through your own bank. We do not pass your message to proposal authors, validators, or other readers. If a law requires disclosure, we limit it to what the request covers.

International transfers

The reading room operates in Korea and aims to keep inquiry mail accessible from Korea. If our email host stores messages on servers outside Korea, that storage is an international transfer of the message content, used only to deliver and answer mail. We do not authorise that host to use the mail for its own marketing. Cookie choices stay in your browser and are not sent to a foreign analytics firm, because the site does not run third-party analytics.

Your rights

You may request access, correction, deletion, a stop on processing, or a copy of the inquiry data we hold about you. Send the request to hello@intellectprism.click. We may need to confirm you are the person named in the message. You may also complain to the Personal Information Protection Commission in Korea if you believe the desk has handled your information improperly.
