Shelves, hours, and house rules in Hansu-myeon
The custom of this library is simple: a dated paper copy, a chair, and a person who has already read the Solana governance text you came for.
What is on the shelves
- Proposal copies with the print date on the cover sheet
- Public validator letters filed beside the proposal they answer
- Comment digests, bound when a thread is too long to follow on a phone
- A short glossary of terms that keep appearing in the current season
- The visit book, which is an attendance record, not a lending ledger
Volumes stay in the room. Season members may use any free chair during desk hours. A study session has first claim on the side table.
Hours
Tuesday to Saturday, 10:00–17:00. Closed Sunday and Monday, and on public holidays in Korea.
Thursday 16:00–17:00 is the open hour for season members: one short question, ten minutes if others are waiting. It is not a substitute for a booked study session.
The building is at the address printed in the footer. If you are coming by bus into Jecheon and then toward Hansu-myeon, write ahead and we will describe the walk from the stop we actually use.
House rules
Voices stay low enough that a neighbour can finish a paragraph. Phones are silent. Bags go on the floor, not on the papers. Food stays in the entry. You may take notes by hand or on a laptop with the sound off.
The desk works with the written proposal, the vote calendar, and the public comments. Readers bring their own arrangements for wallets and transfers; those tasks happen away from this table. Recording a session needs a yes from everyone present.
If you need the room for a circle or a private hour, reserve it. Walking in for a membership visit is fine when a session is not using every chair.
